Laboratory Technician
Are you an experienced Laboratory or Extraction Technician interested in advancing your career in the cannabis industry?

Responsibilities:

Process concentrates and extracts
Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on associated equipment as required to maintain efficient operations
Perform duties in a safe manner and environment while adhering to all governmental regulations for this industry
Select and prepare equipment for extraction and distillation
Perform inprocess and postprocess quality assurance sampling, testing, and visual inspections to ensure all product meets or exceeds company specifications
Operate extraction and distillation equipment and handle extraction gasses along with winterizing, refining, distilling, and/or formulating final product
Record and monitor process conditions to ensure compliance to standard operating procedures
Perform proper weighing, data recording, and batch tracking
Monitor and manage lab and processing equipment supplies and inventory
Maintain safety equipment and records
Participate in packaging and production activities
Execute tests on required analytical equipment
Review all training procedures and continuing education on extraction and distillation methodology to ensure best of class performance on all job functions
Understand regulations/changes to regulations (local and state level)
Manage daytoday issues as they arise, requesting assistance as needed
Store supplies and equipment, disposal of waste according to guidelines, and keep laboratory, storerooms, and working areas clean
Wash and sterilize laboratory glassware

Requirements:

Minimum 1year working in a commercial cannabis lab environment.
Must keep a clean and organized working environment at all times.
Ability to follow and maintain all safety protocols at all times.
Ability to work in a team setting and follow standard operating procedures.
Be able to lift up to 50lbs and push up to 100lbs
Able to comply with daily use of PPE, such as masks, hair nets, beard covers, respirators, etc.
Must be 21+

Pay:
$ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
