• Take and record vital signs, including height and weight
• Assist with mobility and transfers of patients
• Collect specimens for laboratory testing, and inhouse urine (UDS) including venipuncture and phlebotomy
• Follow aseptic technique to prevent infection
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality
• Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records system (EHR)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a nursing assistant training program or equivalent experience
• Current certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) in the state of [New York]
• Knowledge of caregiving principles and practices
• Familiarity with durable medical equipment (DME) and its use
• Proficiency in medical documentation and charting
• Ability to administer medications under the direction of a nurse or physician
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a healthcare team

Pay:
From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
