Summary:


Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives.
  • Analyzes requirements, status, budget, and schedules.
  • Performs management, technical, or business case analyses.
  • Collects, completes, organizes, and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs.
  • Tracks program/project status and schedules.
  • Applies governmentinstituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.
  • A selfstarter who can assist with running budget and financial reports from the NAVAIR Common Spend Plan Tool (CSPT).
  • Experience with Program Management Tool (PMT) and Acquisition Document support (Statements of Work (SOWs), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), and Procurement Initiation Documents (PIDs))
  • High level of experience with scheduling and coordinating meetings.
  • Ability to adapt and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
  • Distribute briefs and files for all meetings.
  • Coordinate/update briefs and documents
  • Collect various talking points from team for submission.
  • Other duties as assigned: PMR planning, CR scheduling, etc.
  • Handling sensitive information.
  • Strategic Planning
  • Meeting Minutes/Action Items
  • Whiteboard sessions (strategies, plans)
  • Execute planning session ideas.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Programs to include Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Education:


BS or BA degree in a business, management or relevant technical discipline is desired OR an AS or AA degree and an additional two (2) years of experience OR an additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.


Required Experience:


Three (3) to ten (10) years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline; there must be at least two (2) years professional experience in technical efforts supporting major weapon systems and components development at NAVAIR.

Demonstrated experience in program/project status tracking and schedules.

This is a full-time position.


Travel:

No travel is expected for this position.


Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment.
