Seneca Holdings is looking to hire a
Project Controls Analyst to support our corporate office in Chantilly, VA (remote).

This position will provide support to the Project Controls team with primary focus on purchase order processing and related activities.


Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Reviews/Processes Purchase Requisitions
  • Validates funding availability.
  • Validates charge numbers.
  • Validates pricing against Quotes, Subcontract or Other Agreements
  • Ensures orders tally by line item and accurately on the Purchase Requisition
  • Verifies Payment Terms
  • Verifies Period of Performance dates
  • Verifies Vendor is Setup in Costpoint
  • Creates Purchase Orders (PO) and Change Orders via entry into Costpoint.
  • Issues Purchases Orders for final review and signature.
  • Communicates with Internal customers to ensure accurate and seamless PO execution.
  • Identifies and processes PO change orders for funding deobligations.
  • Maintains PO files in SharePoint.
  • Identifies opportunities to automate processes from creation and approval of purchase requisition through purchase order completion.
  • Other duties to include, but not limited to: assisting with billing request preparation, updating project setup documents, preparing cost correction requests, assisting with project cost analysis.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in a related field
  • Comprehensive understanding of general purchasing and basic accounting practices
  • Strong problemsolving skills
  • Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications with strong emphasis on MS Excel
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be highly organized, detail oriented, motivated, and able to multitask in a fast paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Prior experience with Deltek Costpoint Purchasing Module
