    Description

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Wood is looking for a Piping Engineering Designer VI for E3D Offshore Projects based in Houston, TX. Legal authorization to work in the US without Wood sponsorship is a must. Responsibilities of this role include leading design processes, managing scope of work and project deliverables, as well as budget and schedule.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Collaborate with design leads for staff assignment and technical support.
    • Provide piping design input, coordinate with various teams, and manage Piping Design Team for project coordination.
    • Ensure discipline work aligns with the schedule and manpower allocation, supervise piping discipline personnel, and conduct periodic model reviews.
    • Communicate with Project Management and Client as necessary.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum of two years of college or technical school in a relevant discipline, with at least fifteen years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
    • Fifteen years of experience in Piping Design/Drafting within the Oil and Gas industry.
    • Ability to conduct field visits, climb stairs, and gather information on-site.
    • Skilled in working collaboratively with Clients, Project Management, and team members, demonstrating strong communication skills.
    • Experience in supervising multiple employees effectively.
