    High-Quality Preschool located in Benton Harbor is currently looking for two Classroom Program Directors/ Lead Preschool Teachers.

    Position Summary:
    Teaches preschool children in a classroom setting, providing academic instruction that is developmentally appropriate for preschool aged children and utilizes all resources available that prepares children with school readiness skills. Ensures that the classroom is successful and is in compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and Michigan Licensing Rules for Childcare Centers. Implements curriculum, on-going observation, assessment and child outcomes systems, consistent with program policies and the Head Start Performance Standards. They work as a partner with families in health, attendance and education of their children.

    Education Requirement:
    Minimum - AA degree in Early Childhood Education
    Desired - BA degree in Early Childhood Education

    Related Experience: Must be 18 years or older. Experience teaching in an Early Childhood setting and have supervisory experience

    Job Type: Full-Time, Salaried, Program Year (End of July-May) Hours: 7:30a-4:00p

    Rate of Pay: AA: $1,768.00 bi-weekly BA: $2,004.00 bi-weekly

    Pre-Employment Requirements: Physical, TB Test, Background Check and Drug Screen
