High-Quality Preschool located in Spinks Corner is currently looking for a Preschool Associate Teacher serving classrooms with children ages 3-5 for our next Program year (End of July May 2025).

Position Summary:

Assists teacher in instructing preschool children and organizing the classroom based on developmentally appropriate practices.

Assists with implementing curriculum, on-going assessment, observation, and child outcomes systems consistent with program policies and the Head Start Performance Standards.

Works as a partner with families in the health and education of their children. Responsible for classroom daily required cleaning and daily food preparation.

Education Requirement:

Minimum - High School diploma and able to obtain a CDA within 2 years of hire
Desired - CDA or AA in Early Childhood Education


Related Experience:


Minimum:
Must be over 18 for licensing & at least have one-year related experience preferred

Desired:
Two years related experience

Full-Time, Non-Exempt, next Program year (End of July May 2025), M-F, Hours: 7:45am-4:15p


Rate of Pay:
Base: $15.21 /hr


CDA:
$15.53 /hr AA:
$17.39 /hr


Pre-Employment Requirements:
Physical, TB Test, Background Check and Drug Screen
