The city of Dorfen is the second largest municipality in the district of Erding with a population of approximately 15,000 and is located 50 km east of the state capital Munich. The municipal construction yard maintains six city cemeteries as well as a forest cemetery. They encompass a wide range of lawn and gravel areas, urn fields and walls. To fulfill these tasks, we are currently seeking a full-time (39 hours per week) construction yard employee (m/f/d) for cemetery maintenance and upkeep.

Your future responsibilities will include:

  • Maintenance, design and care of the cemetery grounds, excluding funeral services
  • Mowing lawns, trimming trees and shrubs
  • Maintenance and upkeep of paths, areas and benches
  • Planting and care of honorary graves, flower beds and troughs
  • Operating and maintaining vehicles and equipment
  • Conducting winter services

Your profile should include:

  • Completed 3year apprenticeship as a landscape or perennial gardener, or alternatively as a cemetery gardener
  • Alternatively, a completed 3year apprenticeship in a trade
  • Experience in maintaining green spaces is an advantage
  • Possession of a class B/BE and C1/C1E driver's license
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility
  • Understanding of technical and organizational processes
