Your tasks:

  • You lead a team of 40 employees and are responsible for the professional and disciplinary management of the Battery Laboratory department
  • You and your team are responsible for implementing business goals and formulating business development strategies to ensure long-term success
  • You establish 3 areas of expertise: - Endurance testing (climatic chamber, cycler)
  • Environmental simulation (e.g. dust, salt spray test..), -Abuse testing (e.g. fire hall, shaker, crush test..)
  • Continuous improvement of safety and health protection in the department and regular training of employees according to the guidelines of the management and approval authorities

Your profile:

  • Technical degree in electrical engineering, automotive engineering or mechatronics with very good business knowledge
  • You support sales and ensure a successful launch of the laboratory
  • Professional experience / team leadership in a comparable position desirable
  • Strong communication and assertiveness skills as well as pronounced social competence, empathy and team orientation
  • Deep understanding of ensuring compliance with guidelines / standards and company guidelines
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
