    Responsibilities:

    • Performing web application, API and mobile application penetration testing utilizing black box and white box techniques aligned to OWASP Web Security Top 10, OWASP API Security Top 10, and PTES.
    • Researching and staying up to date with the latest penetration testing techniques associated with web apps and API platforms.
    • Creating and proofreading various highly detailed cybersecurity testing reports.
    • Performing white box security architectural analysis on various technology stacks and applications, including creating threat models.
    • Either currently or in the future, perform Mobile application penetration testing on Android and iOS applications utilizing black box and white box techniques aligned with OWASP Mobile Security Top 10.
    • Assisting with the development of various scripts, tools, and processes to help automate various pentesting processes.
    • Presenting various penetration testing reports to customers and discussing nuanced technical recommendations associated with web applications and APIs.
    • Discuss with, collaborate with, and train teammates from the Cybersecurity Engineering Team and Governance Risk Compliance Team around various tools and techniques associated with web application and API penetration testing.

    • Exceptional spelling and grammar skills for writing and proofreading documents.
    • A thorough understanding of OWASP Web Application Security Testing Guide v4 and the Penetration Testing Execution Standard.
    • Extremely familiar with all of the components of BurpSuite Pro, including repeater, intercept, intruder, and collaborator, as well as various plugins.
    • Highly skilled at identifying and exploiting web servers (IIS, NGINX, Apache, Tomcat, et. al)
    • Highly skilled at identifying and exploiting web frameworks (Laravel, Django, Ruby on Rails, Express, et. al)
    • Extremely familiar with common web languages (HTML, JavaScript, Java, PHP, Python, et. al)
    • Any cybersecurity or technology certifications are a plus but not required.
