    Job Description

    Job Title: Microbiologist

    Location: Westborough, MA

    Duration: 06 months+

    Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00-3:30 PM / 8:00-4:30 PM

    The main role will involve:

    • Performing laboratory analysis of samples using aseptic technique, following established procedures and complying with official health authority regulations
    • Maintaining accurate records of work performed and documenting results according to good documentation practices
    • Operating and maintaining laboratory instruments, troubleshooting minor issues
    • Supporting other lab functions, performing test methods to support product release, analyzing and interpreting data
    • Completing assigned tasks, supporting investigation writers, and managing time effectively
    • Conducting qualification of methods and laboratory studies, trending data to support reports

    Top Skills:

    • QC Micro experience, hands-on experience with Environmental Monitoring and Lab Testing
    • Aseptic technique experience preferred, attention to detail required
    • Good organizational skills, ability to prioritize workload, extremely thorough
    • Performing tasks with supervision guidance, strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Adapting quickly to new situations, adjusting priorities in a changing work environment

    Nice to have:

    • Knowledge of regulations affecting Pharmaceutical Products, GMP, Clean-Room experience
    • Experience with cGMP documentation and record maintenance

    Years of experience/education and/or certifications required:

    • BS in Biology, Microbiology or other life science required

    Microbiology lab: 2 years (Preferred)

    • Performs routine Environmental Monitoring testing: 2 years (Preferred)

    Clean-Room Gowning: 1-2 years (Preferred)
