Job Details:
The Controller will report to the Director of Finance and will be responsible for managing financial activities and maintaining financial records.

Responsibilities Include:
- Execute monthly financial close procedures efficiently
- Collaborate with the Director of Finance to manage the budget and address financial challenges
- Assist in creating annual budgets in alignment with organizational priorities
- Monitor cash flow and account balances
- Coordinate with finance functions like Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll
- Manage investments and endowments
- Reconcile General Ledger and prepare financial reports
- Develop Internal Control policies and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Prepare special reports for the Board of Trustees and regulatory agencies
- Liaise with auditors and assist in financial statement preparation
- Support other departments with financial planning and emergencies
- Evaluate and enhance financial processes for efficiency
- Perform other duties as assigned by school leadership

Qualifications:
- CPA or Master's Degree in Accounting preferred
- Minimum of five years' experience in Accounting
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and make decisions

Supervisory Responsibilities:
The Controller will report to the Director of Finance and assist in supervisory responsibilities within the Finance Department.
