This is a part time position working day shift in the Skilled Nursing unit at Oro Valley Hospital.

Our Skilled Nursing unit is located inside Oro Valley Hospital. Offering 33 private rooms, patients can comfortably recover from a variety of illnesses and injuries. Our goal is to help patients return to their lives outside the hospital. As a nurse on our team, you will work with other health care professionals while providing quality, patient centered-care.

Position Purpose
Manage the facility's admissions process and provide customers with facility-related information via facility tours, personal visits, assessments, follow-up, etc. Assist Marketing Director in achieving facility's census and quality mix goals.

This position will assist the nursing department and admissions department to ensure the highest quality of care for our new residents.


Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education:
Required
: Post High School Vocational/ Specialized training in Practical Nursing

Experience:
Required
: 2 years experience in healthcare setting

Preferred:
Experience in long term care setting


Skills:

Appropriate prioritization and planning skills, while achieving safety and quality in a high volume environment; Engaging and effective communication and service skills; Adherence to policy and procedures; Process improvement oriented; Self-initiative to assist with whatever is needed throughout the admission process.

Current AZ LPN license; American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) BLS; Fingerprint Clearance Card
