$250 SIGN-ON BONUS
Porter will be responsible for cleaning areas of the police department building to ensure a clean and safe environment.


Shift:


  • 8 a.m. 12 p.m. (Monday through Friday)

Essential Functions Include:


  • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
  • Gather and empty trash.
  • Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
  • Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using specific cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
  • Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
  • Mix water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
  • Any other duties deemed necessary for the cleanliness of the building.

Requirements:


  • Minimum: 1 year previous janitorial experience preferred.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects.
  • MUST have reliable transportation to and from the work site.
