Truity Partners is supporting a nonprofit client in Racine, WI with their search for an Interim Controller. This is an onsite project, estimated to last 3-6 months in duration. Compensation is estimated at $ $85.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare reports to summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
- Oversee and manage all general ledger activity.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and yearend close process.
- Direct preparation of budgets.
- Advise management on desirable operational adjustments due to tax code revisions.
- Arrange for audits of company's accounts.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Prior management experience
- 5 + years experience as manager in corporate accounting department
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in the nonprofit industry preferred
- Bachelor's of accounting/finance or related field
Job Types:
Full-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay:
$ $85.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
