$107,000 - $160,500 plus annual bonus
The Cyber Security department at NiSource ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of NiSource assets to achieve the company mission.
This team performs various measures to protect the company with a wide range of technologies to combat the latest threats in an ever-evolving landscape.
This team focuses on coordinating and overseeing cybersecurity projects and initiatives.
The Cybersecurity Project Manager is responsible for guiding cross-functional cybersecurity teams using Agile and waterfall methodologies, to achieve cybersecurity objectives.
In this role you will lead project planning, stakeholder communication, and risk mitigation efforts while maintaining a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles.
The Cybersecurity Project Manager will foster collaboration, facilitate, and align project goals with security requirements while delivering these secure solutions on time and within budget.
Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Agile Methodology: Lead and coach cross-functional cybersecurity teams in the use of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, to drive project success
Project Planning:
Develop and maintain project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.

Scrum Facilitation:Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives to ensure that teams adhere to Agile principles and continuously improve.

Resource Management: Allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to support the project's success.

Risk Assessment:_ _Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities related to the project and develop mitigation strategies.

Stakeholder Communication: Establish and maintain clear communication with project stakeholders, including senior management, IT teams, and cybersecurity experts, to ensure alignment with project goals.

Project Execution: Oversee the execution of cybersecurity projects, including the implementation of security measures, software upgrades, and infrastructure enhancements.

Quality Assurance:Ensure that all project components meet cybersecurity standards, industry best practices, and compliance requirements.

Budget Management: Manage project budgets, track expenses, and report on financial progress to senior management.

Project Documentation:Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations.

Change Management:Effectively manage changes in project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and assess their impact on project timelines and budgets.

Vendor and Third-Party Management: If necessary, coordinate with external vendors and third-party service providers to ensure project success.

Cybersecurity Expertise: Understand and stay current with cybersecurity best practices, threats, and technologies to make informed decisions during project execution
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in cyber or infrastructure project management
- 3+ years of experience managing projects with budgets of 3M+
- Experience with resource capacity planning
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the utilities industry
- Networking and or cyber experience
- Physical security project management
- PMP certification
- Agile certification
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
- Certifications (CISSP, CISM or equivalent) would be a plus
