    Job Title: Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist

    Location: Houston, Texas

    Type of Role: Contract

    POSITION OVERVIEW:

    Our team is currently looking for a Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist for a client in the Oil and Gas industry.

    We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist to support the Talent Acquisition (TA) team in identifying and connecting with potential candidates to fulfill current and future staffing/hiring requirements. The ideal candidate will help to build the SI talent pipeline, maintain current database of qualified individuals for future openings and bring out-of-the-box ideas to help drive the company's talent acquisition goals. The focus of the role is to develop and drive new initiatives to improve the flow of talent coming into the business and use various tools to help the department reach its goals.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:


    • Coordinate with TA team members to identify hiring needs and proactively source potential hires to facilitate SI selection process. Collaborate with TA team to develop sourcing strategies accordingly.


    • Utilize new and innovative tools to help acquire the best talent in the market, such as signing up to resume databases and career-building websites.


    • Utilize various sourcing methods such as social media (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook, and X), online job boards, networking events, and professional organizations to actively search possible candidates' profiles for specific roles.


    • Conduct market research on industry trends, and talent landscape.


    • Pre-screen resumes and applications to identify potential candidates that meet job requirements.


    • Engage with candidates through email correspondence, and networking events to assess their qualifications and interest in available positions. Log candidate information in our Applicant Tracking System and other internal database.


    • Help build and maintain relationships with talent sources to expand SI candidate pool. Contact past applicants for new job opportunities.


    • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.


    • Ensure compliance with all legal and company policies throughout the recruitment sourcing process.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


    • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.


    • Proven experience as a sourcing specialist, recruiter, or in a similar role.


    • Solid understanding of sourcing techniques and best practices.


    • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other HR software.


    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


    • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.


    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


    • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
