Your tasks

In your 3-year training as a nursing specialist, you will learn how to care for and support elderly people in need. This includes taking on the following tasks:

Empathetic counseling for older people in difficult life situations, as well as recognition and analysis of the well-being of residents

Assisting older people with personal hygiene, eating, and dressing

Therapeutic and medical-nursing tasks, such as changing bandages, repositioning bedridden individuals, applying ointments, and administering medication according to doctor's orders, as well as health-promoting support measures

Thorough documentation of nursing measures and reports, as well as careful management of personal data
