The ACS Clinical Team Coordinator will act as a bridge between frontline clinicians and agency management, ensuring high-quality, ethical care while managing staff performance and development. This role involves providing regular individual and group supervision, reviewing clinical documentation, and supporting staff in managing complex cases or crises.
Core Responsibilities
Clinical Supervision & Staff Development:
Provide weekly, structured supervision to therapists or caseworkers (individual and group). Mentor less experienced clinicians on ethical practice, treatment methodologies, and documentation standards.
Case Review & Management:
Review clinical records, treatment plans, and assessments for accuracy, quality, and compliance. Monitor caseloads, assign clients, and manage waiting lists.
Performance Evaluation:
Conduct staff evaluations and implement corrective action plans when necessary.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with agency policies, licensing regulations, and state/federal standards. Address client crises, complaints, and ethical issues, providing "duty-to-warn" oversight.
Training & Onboarding:
Train staff on evidence-based treatment modalities (e.g., TF-CBT), agency procedures, and documentation.
Administrative Duties:
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, coordinate with external stakeholders, and assist with data collection for quality assurance.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience:
Master's degree in a mental health field and 5+ years of post-master's, including direct client service.
Licensure:
Valid license to practice in the state (e.g., LCAT, LMHC, LMSW, LCSW).
Key Competencies:
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Technical Knowledge:
Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and case management software.
