Overview:

Ready to shape the future of science and global health? ATCC, a pioneer in biomaterials manufacturing, is seeking an Associate Repository Technician on-site 5 days/wk in Manassas, VA.

Responsibilities:

-
Laboratory and Material Handling: Monitor and maintain temperature-controlled storage systems, ensure inventory organization, and wear proper PPE (personal protective equipment) while obtaining biomaterials from repository freezers.

Operations Coordination: Processing incoming shipments, stock replenishment and inventory, and preparing samples for shipment.

Organization and Documentation: Manage inventory and maintain biological materials in proper cold chain environment (196°C (-321°F) degrees to 29°C (85°F) degrees) through the monitoring of storage systems, freezers and tanks. Performing functions following standard operating procedures, systematic data entry, and performing good documentation practices (GDP) and maintaining cGMP standards.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent experience with 02 years of relevant experience
Warehouse, shipping/handling, or inventory experience preferred
Attention to detail for batch number and item number differentiation and counting
Willingness and ability to learn inventory management systems
Ability to learn and follow quality control/assurance procedures
Effective communication in English (both verbal and written), strong organizational skills
