POSITION SUMMARY

VIPRE Security is looking for an Agile Senior Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will combine principles of the ScrumMaster and traditional Project Manager roles to lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. You will ensure that project deliverables meet all requirements for functionality and quality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage end-to-end delivery of projects that span cross-functional teams
Work with stakeholders and product owners to ensure project scope and requirements are captured in the product backlog
Effectively communicate to stakeholders and executive team on a consistent basis
Identify and remove impediments that prevent teams from completing their sprint goals or project tasks
Manage changing priorities and one-off requests that can impact team performance
Continuously identify and manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies; identify and manage these by mitigating or escalating
Create project plan with phases and milestones
Deliver projects per project plan and within budget while upholding quality and stakeholder requirements
Conduct all project team meetings, including kickoffs, daily scrums, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

EDUCATION AND/OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors Degree in Business or Technical field, or equivalent work experience
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or completion of another recognized project management certification

REQUIRED SKILLS

Minimum of five years of experience working as a Project Manager
Minimum of two years of experience as a ScrumMaster or Product Owner
Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams
Experience with software development
Strong organization skills with an attention to detail
Ability to handle changing priorities
Strong negotiation, reasoning, and critical thinking skills
Ability to communicate requirements and status to all business and technical levels, at the right level for the target audience
