- Assist in the development of workforce schedules, project production reporting employing typical project management process/methodologies such as resource allocation, WBS, Gannt charts/Kanban, and RAID logs.
- Ensure all customer facing and internal KPI data and scheduling tools/artifacts are up to date and accurate.
- Coordinate with in-house and contingent resources on day-to-day assignments, resource deconfliction and triage activities.
- Develop daily, monthly, and quarterly performance reporting metrics that illustrate quantitative project success and highlight areas for improvement.
- Develop contingency plans for workforce shortages or similar critical project challenges.
- While this is an IC role, you should have the skills to influence, mentor/coach junior members within the team as required for project/program success.
- Exceptional inter-personal and communication skills. (Both written and spoken)
- Prior experience as a dedicated project manager/coordinator in a telecommunications/cable/MSO environment.
- Prior experience in outside plant construction and/or network engineering.
- Prior experience/knowledge in PMBOK methodology and processes.
- PgMP, PMP, Prince2 or similar certification is a plus, though not required.
- Strategic thinking with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to operate effectively across matrix organizations.
- Verifiable relationship management skills.
- Strong initiative, comfortable with ambiguity and willingness to move outside of one's comfort zone.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in role, with Telecom/Cable/MSO or similar industry environment.
- Above average skill level with MS Office suite of tools to such as, excel, word, MS project and MS Teams.
- Comfortable with 3rd party tools such as JIRA, Confluence or similar.

Description
POSITION OVERVIEWThe Project Manager will perform an integral role within the day-to-day scheduling, task coordination, reporting, escalation, and triage activities related to OSP construction related activities.
The project manager will serve as a key supporting element for all in-house and contingent staff supporting our construction and maintenance activities with our prime customers. This is a high-visibility role working alongside existing Lightspeed senior management as well as our customer's field and construction teams.

The ideal candidate will have high energy, and a passion for project delivery and execution. The ideal candidate will enjoy a diverse set of challenges to include IT/Systems, customer management, construction activities, and reporting/metrics.
Additional Personal Attributes:
The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in fast changing, start-up environment where resources are optimized around producing measurable results. A heavy reliance upon industry partners and contingent resources is a key aspect of this role. The role will be predominately office based with opportunities for some hybrid work schedules as the job permits.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in business administration, information systems or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
