- Provide supervisory oversight of campus Third-Party Vendors that provide custodial, landscaping and grounds services for campus on a daily basis ensuring all contractual commitments are being met; Develop, update, and manage Third-Party Vendors contract requirements.
- Provide oversight for: pressure washing program of brick and concrete walkways, stairs and other hardscape surfaces; Waste Management and Recycling programs; Provide event oversight and planning coordination of the Inclement Weather Program. Update and manage the severe weather emergency storm response plan effectively; Provide management oversight of purchasing materials appropriate for campus applications, repairs, and implementations
- Manage Residence Life housing/dorm cleaning for room turnover
- Coordinate and assist with planning and managing operational support for events; Perform project management over special projects assigned
- Manage and maintain equipment inventory including motorized vehicles and hand/power tools. Ensure operators are trained and safety rules are followed
- Provide leadership by hiring, training and managing assigned staff. Perform performance appraisals, give oral and written guidance, and recommend employment actions
- Prepare written communications, conduct meetings, develop specifications, reports, correspondence, etc. Procure materials following state purchasing policies and guidelines
- Assist in budget preparation and inventory management
- Respond to emergency calls as required; On-call required
- Other duties as assigned
- 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university
- 5+ years' experience in facilities maintenance operations
- 2+ years' management of personnel or program
- Valid Georgia state driver's license
- PMP certification
- Advanced computer skills to include work order and inventory systems
- Previous experience managing a departmental budget
