Desktop Support Technician

  • Basic Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Valid Driver's License
  • 12 years' Experience with Enterprise Editions of Windows 10, MacOS, or Google
G Suite for Education.

  • Ability to effectively communicate technology related matters to all levels of administration.
  • Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations, involving difficult interactions with customers.
  • Ability to effectively document procedures and tasks performed from a technical perspective.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and pursue constant professional development
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds.
  • Ability to travel district wide to perform duties.
  • Preferred Requirements
  • Associates Degree in technology related fields (Information Technology,
  • Computer Science, Computer Information Systems), or 2+ years' experience in a technology related field.
  • K12 Technology experience strongly preferred
  • Bilingual English and Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Comp TIA A+, Network+, Server+, or Accredited Industry Certificate strongly preferred
  • Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems (Eduphoria Help Desk, Spiceworks,
  • Etc.)
  • Basic Duties
  • Install, Configure, Troubleshoot, Maintain and Repair desktop and laptop computer systems, Chromebooks, mobile devices (IPV4 Phones, cellular phones, hotspots, Etc.), printers, and peripherals.
  • Deploy operating systems via Windows Deployment Services
  • Travel districtwide and perform Technology related work orders
  • Effectively communicate solutions for technology related tickets to staff members
  • Effectively document tasks performed.
  • 4. Additional Duties
  • Crosstrain in various fields within the technology department, and pursue additional professional development as needed.
  • Other tasks as assigned by Departmental Leadership.

Pay:
$30, $50,000.00 per year
