Job Profile Summary
Under general supervision, the job involves various tasks in a warehouse or storeroom setting including receiving, storing, issuing, delivering, and shipping diverse supplies. Employees ensure efficient storeroom operations, either handling major functions in a large storeroom or overseeing all functions in a small to medium-sized storeroom.
Collaboration with the Warehouse Supervisor is key to achieving goals. The role may require stepping in to support different warehouse-related responsibilities when necessary.

Minimum Education:

• High School diploma or GED is a must.

Minimum Experience/Training:

• At least two years of relevant experience in material management/warehousing at a semi-skilled level or above.

Minimum Certification/Licenses:

• Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License or obtain one within 30 days of employment. Forklift certification is required.

Essential Functions:

• Daily- 30%: Assisting the Warehouse Supervisor in achieving objectives, handling incoming shipments, organizing merchandise, and conducting inventory checks.
• Daily -5%: Preparing merchandise for storage or transfer, operating equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Assisting in training Storekeeper I staff.
• Daily -25%: Driving vehicles for deliveries and pickups.
• Daily -10%: Managing returns, organizing storage areas, and maintaining accurate records.
• Daily -10%: Conducting equipment and goods inventory, coordinating with the Purchasing department, and ensuring proper documentation for shipping orders.
• Other, As Needed -20%: Overseeing vehicle maintenance, fueling, record-keeping, and providing support in related tasks.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Familiarity with computer systems such as Workday, Microsoft Office, and package tracking software. Strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and safety practices. Ability to operate warehouse equipment and adapt to changing priorities.
