Pay starting at $22 based on experience.Duties and Responsibilities
Primary job duties and responsibilities include:
- Conduct experimentation using a designed approach to validate formulations and processes at the bench and pilot scale before entering production.
- Engage in collaborative efforts with the Research and Development (R&D) department and other crossfunctional teams, proposing and formulating innovative products, processes, and technologies to contribute to Godshall's continued growth.
- Troubleshoot challenges encountered in projects, produce suggestions and discuss with the Food Science Director on solutions.
- Assist with developing independent insights to improve the shelflife tracking process.
- Attending production runs as needed.
- Involved in shelflife analysis and other duties as assigned.
- Process swab samples and report results.
- Contribute to analyzing and determining swab patterns.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications required to perform the job successfully include:
- B.S. in Microbiology, Food Science, Biology or a related field.
- Ability to operate and maintain equipment safely.
- Thrive in a fastpaced and dynamic working environment.
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize activities to meet businesscritical timelines.
- Ability to carry out duties and instructions diligently and logically with moderate amounts of supervision.
- Detail oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity and experience with standard laboratory instruments and Microbiology testing methods
Working Conditions
- Must be able to work in various work environments. (office/lab/production)
- Exposure to plant environment that is wet, very humid and undergoes temperature changes, from hot to cold.
- Fastpaced environment working around heavy meat processing equipment.
Physical Requirements
- Required to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time.
- Frequent use of hands for simple and firm grasping
- Frequent lifting, carrying 5 pounds to 50 pounds.
Pay:
From $22.00 per hour
