Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care as a First Assist in the Cardiovascular Operating Room, assisting the surgical team during CVOR procedures.
• Perform surgical tasks under the supervision of the surgeon, including tissue manipulation, suturing, and hemostasis.
• Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping for surgery, ensuring a sterile environment and patient safety.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to anticipate needs during procedures and ensure efficient workflow in the CVOR.
• Maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures, patient assessments, and intraoperative care.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Nevada (or compact state) with CVOR First Assist certification.
• Minimum of two years of recent experience as a CVOR RNFA.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong knowledge of CVOR procedures, instrumentation, and surgical techniques.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
