- Provide direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) as a First Assist, assisting surgeons during CVOR procedures and providing specialized surgical support.
- Assist with patient positioning, exposure, hemostasis, suturing, and wound closure, ensuring optimal surgical outes and patient safety.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to anticipate needs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure efficient and effective patient care during CVOR procedures.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, infection control procedures, and regulatory standards to maintain a safe surgical environment.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans for CVOR patients, ensuring continuity of care and patient satisfaction.
- Active RN license in Nevada (or pact state) with at least two years of recent CVOR experience and RNFA certification.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; CNOR certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of CVOR procedures, instrumentation, and equipment, as well as experience in assisting with plex cardiovascular surgeries.
- Excellent munication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to adapt to new environments and work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
