Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist in preparing the cardiac catheterization lab for procedures, including setting up equipment, ensuring cleanliness, and stocking necessary supplies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care before, during, and after procedures.
  • Operate and maintain cardiac catheterization equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety standards are met.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and assist with administering medications and intravenous fluids as directed by physicians.
  • Perform procedural documentation and maintain accurate patient records in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications:


  • Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating cardiac catheterization equipment and monitoring devices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Detailoriented with excellent problemsolving abilities and a commitment to patient safety and quality care.
