Construction Safety Coordinator - Austin, United States - Aristeo Construction
Description
Position Responsibilities:
- Complete record keeping as required
- Perform site orientations
- Develop safety reports, training, and sitespecific health and safety programs
- Review subcontractor safety policies
- Assist with OSHA correspondence
- Assist with the pretask analysis process
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of safety policies and procedures
- Ability to balance multiple agendas and prioritize tasks
- Demonstrates leadership and accountability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- 2+ years of experience in a construction based health and safety role or similar position
Education:
- Associates degree in safety or related field. Bachelor's degree is preferred. Experience may be substituted for a degree
- Safety certifications are preferred, but not required
