Description
Ardor School for Passion-Based Learning is looking for passionate, nurturing, creative and energetic Assistant Teacher for our pre-school classroom (2s-3s)


At least 1 year of group childcare experience is required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a caregiver for all children in the classroom
  • Assisting Lead Teacher in implementing age appropriate curriculum
  • Collaborate with Lead Teacher in creating weekly lesson plans
  • Engaging children in activities and play that stimulates their development
  • Appropriately supervising children while keeping them safe at all times
  • Creating an environment in the classroom that is clean, organized, and safe for all children
  • Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family in order to provide quality care and friendly service
  • Actively supervising children during outdoor activities
  • Planing and implementing supervised physical activities
  • Assisting Lead Teacher in conducting child assessments
  • Representing the School to all relevant audiences
  • Maintaining classroom in clean and sanitized condition at all times
  • Helping children maintain personal hygiene including but not limited to washing hands and changing diapers, as well as assist children in feeding when needed

$ $21.00 per hour

Experience:
