Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for a Bilingual Litigation Project Assistant in our Washington, DC office.


Position Summary:

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Works directly with case team to proof and finalize court documents
  • Works with vendors to prepare document productions in response to requests issued to clients
  • Drafts routine correspondence and discovery requests to opposing parties
  • Maintains and updates client case and document databases
  • Performs basic document review and research
  • Supports trial preparation efforts including creating trial notebooks, identifying and organizing exhibits, working with witness schedules, maintaining trial calendars
  • Conducts review of incoming discovery and provides analysis as requested by case team
  • Assists with practice department activities/project work assignments as needed, and performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Assists with other department activities as needed, and performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

  • Strong problemsolving skills, takes initiative and uses good judgment, excellent followup skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and collaborate well in a team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), professional demeanor, and presentation
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team and be comfortable with demanding deadlines, including overtime as case demands
  • High attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to manage time effectively
  • Provide outstanding client service, meet high quality standards for services, and meet or exceed client expectations; proactive in seeking innovative ways in which to help others
  • Recognize confidential, sensitive, and proprietary information and maintain such information as confidential

Qualifications & Prior Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
  • Strong desire to work in the legal profession or related industry preferred
  • Knowledge of basic research tools and ability to leverage those skills as applied to the legal profession
