What will you be doing as a Branch Manager?

  • Strategically plans and directs sales to promote new markets, improve competitive position, and provide fast and efficient customer service.
  • Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; responds promptly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to improve service; responds to requests for service and assistance; meets commitments.
  • Confers with potential customers to ascertain equipment, supplies, and service needs.
  • Advises customers on types of equipment to purchase, considering such factors as costs, space availability, and intended use.
  • Directs and coordinates activities of personnel engaged in sales and service accounting and recordkeeping and receiving and shipping operations.
  • Pursues training and development opportunities; Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; Shares expertise with others.
  • Includes staff in planning, decisionmaking, facilitating and process improvement.
  • Takes responsibility for subordinates' activities; available to staff; provides regular performance feedback; develops subordinates' skills and encourages growth.
  • Solicits and applies customer feedback (internal and external); fosters quality focus in others; improves processes, products and services; continually works to improve supervisory skills.
  • Assist HR in interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Required Qualifications:

What we are looking for in a Branch Manager:

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years progressive management experience, preferably in the HVAC/R wholesale business; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to multitask and work on various projects simultaneously keeping them on track and providing clear status updates. The ability to respond to frequently shifting priorities is a must.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Eclipse order processing systems.

Salary
$100-115k annually
