Velocity Home Healthcare is looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant Part-Time or Full-Time in the Northern VA area. *PRN PTA's welcome to apply.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow the plan of care established by the Physical Therapist
• Communicate with the care team in regards to the patient's progress
• Provide caregiver education and training as needed
• Instruct patient in the use of various types of durable equipment to improve function.

PTA Criteria:

• Must have a valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of VA
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Applicants must possess basic computer literacy skills. Current documentation program is Wellsky (Kinnser)
• Prefer at least one year of home health experience. Not mandatory
• Current CPR certification
• Professional Liability Insurance or be willing to purchase (Cost=approx less than $100/year)for PRN PTA's only
• Valid driver's license and vehicle with insurance policy

PTA SHOULD POSSESS:

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with a team
• Aptitude in problemsolving ability
• Professional attitude and good communication skills.

WORK LOCATION:

• Loudoun County
• Fairfax County
• Arlington County
• Prince William County

Start Date:

Salary:
$45-$60 per visit
