    Job DescriptionDescription:

    The forging supervisor oversees the forging process within a manufacturing environment, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining quality standards and adhering to safety regulations. They are responsible for coordinating the activities of forging operators and other personnel involved in the forging process.

    Requirements:

    Duties/Responsibilities

    • Motivating and inspiring a team of talented production workers to achieve their full potential and meet production targets.
    • Maintaining high standards of product quality through rigorous inspection and adherence to standard operating procedures.
    • Optimizing production processes to maximize output while minimizing waste, downtime, and cost.
    • Ensuring a safe working environment by promoting adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
    • Providing training and coaching to team members to enhance their skills and abilities.
    • Identifying and resolving production issues swiftly and effectively to minimize disruptions.
    • Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production volumes, quality control measures, and equipment maintenance.
    • Strong technical knowledge of forging processes and equipment. Familiarity with forging materials and metallurgy is a plus.

    • Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
    • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    • Knowledge of production processes, quality standards, and safety protocols.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Flexibility to work in a dynamic, ever-evolving environment.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to work in noisy environments.
    • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
    • Must be able to bend, stretch, squat, and climb to access all parts of the machine.
    • Work is typically performed in a manufacturing environment, which may include exposure to heat, noise, and other hazards associated with forging operations.
