Job Summary:

The primary responsibility of this position is to respond to member inquiries by providing information and troubleshooting complex issues regarding claims, coverage, benefits and health plan eligibility.
The representative must work with external Fund vendors in order to resolve member questions and concerns in a timely manner.
This position involves thorough handling of member, provider and vendor telephone calls, written correspondence and in person interviews.Job Requirements:
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication and problemsolving skills
- Strong computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of Customer Service Principles and practices
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced and rapidly changing environment
- Ability to resolve customers' problems and to demonstrate patience and remain courteous when faced with difficult or angry callers
- Ability to interact well within a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years experience in a customer service environment
- 1+ years experience in a Health Insurance Industry setting
- Knowledge of HIPAA policies and procedures
- Knowledge of Health Claims coding and terminology
- Bilingual (Spanish/Portuguese) preferred
Pay:
From $56,087.20 per year
