Description
The
_Facilities Technician _is responsible for performing routine maintenance and assisting with vendor management for all HPS locations. The
_Facilities Technician _performs basic and routine facilities maintenance and repair tasks according to service, quality, and safety standards.

This position assists with miscellaneous facility projects, including painting, drywall, installation of fixtures, and moving furniture or materials within the facility within approved guidelines and expertise.

Job Duties

  • Ensures safety compliance with all company / customer regulations, policies, and procedures related to facilities maintenance.
  • Interacts with branch and site management to establish maintenance and repair expectations.
  • Conducts biannual visits (or more depending on need) to each branch to perform walk through with Branch Manager/Divisional Manager to proactively identify maintenance issues.
  • Performs biannual facilities assessments. Documents and reports findings, addresses maintenance concerns not previously corrected.
  • Assists overseeing the work of subcontractors and maintenance partners to insure all of Hirsch's goals and objectives are met or exceeded by any subcontracted work. Reports any concerns to the Facilities Supervisor.
  • Accurate and timely administrative duties to include, but not limited to, time accounting and work order completion.
  • Assists with new branch setup process.
  • Assist in maintaining and monitoring the work order management system daily.
  • Performs routine facility repairs within approved guidelines and expertise.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Southern California, potentially overnight in limited situations.

Requirements:


  • Must be eighteen years of age.
  • Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Test and Physical
  • Must pass a Pre-Employment Background Check
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid Driver's License (Enforced for at least 2 years)
  • Clean DMV record (no more than 2 points in the previous 6 years)
  • Ability to travel to all HPS locations with occasional overnight stays.
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
  • One to three years related work experience.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Salary Description
24.00/hr
