    Your Role in Keeping the Future in Safe Hands...


    Reporting to VP Sales - Senior Care North America, the Sales Estimator - Senior Care North America will assist in accelerating our presence in the North American Senior Living and Care market.

    You will oversee complex and technical quotes to support our sales team and drive profitable growth


    We are looking for someone with lots of passion for sales, customer relations, making your people succeed and our important mission.

    What you will do...


    • Overall planning and management of estimating activities.
    • Notably involvement in quotes for construction projects, including preparation, interpretation, and presentation of takeoffs to Regional Sales Managers to help answer questions.
    • As required, assist with presentation to clients and responses to questions, specifically as they relate to the technical nature of quotes.
    • Maintain an accurate and organized bid schedule.
    • Review project plans, specifications, addenda, and all other relevant project documents to determine needs.
    • Perform accurate quantity takeoffs and material sheets according to plans and specifications.
    • Submit any relevant RFI's specific to electronic locking, nurse call and resident monitoring scope.
    • Prepare price quotes according to quantity takeoff, material cost, labor, freight, and profit margin.
    • Detailed review of contracts, specifications, and scope of work to ensure accurate quotes and successful execution of projects post sale.
    • Develop and maintain a good relationship with suppliers and subcontractors.
    • Collaborate with sales team and vendors to discuss any questions or concerns on any project.
    • Provide support to sales team to help increase yearly revenue.
    • Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
    What we expect of you...


    • Experience with new construction market as well as bid and takeoff process
    • Experience with Microsoft products - Word, Power Point, Excel, Teams, etc.
    • Excellent time management skills
    • Must be able to make educated decisions on the behalf of ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions
    • Senior Living and/or Construction experience is preferred but not required.
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills are imperative.
    • Must possess excellent mathematical and organizational skills.
    • Imperative is high level initiative, personally and professionally.
    • Must possess an eye for attention to detail.
    • Required to perform assigned duties accurately and efficiently.
    • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
    • Ability to perform a variety of tasks at a high level of accuracy.
    • Must possess a positive can-do attitude.
    • Daily attendance and punctuality are required for this position.
    • The location of the role is flexible as the team will be distributed. However, our Senior Care North America headquarters is in Victoria, BC, and we maintain a small presence at the ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions office in Dallas, TX.
