The district of Spree-Neiße/Wokrejs Sprjewja-Nysa, located in the idyllic southeast of Brandenburg, is nationally known for its unique natural landscapes and the lived language and culture of the Sorbs/Wends.

The district administration actively contributes to the expansion and preservation of the attractiveness and diversity of Spree-Neiße and accompanies the successful realization of the structural change process in the Lausitz region.

In the Department I, Waste Management, a full-time position is available as a

Driver/Loader (m/f/d)

to be filled as soon as possible for a limited period as a substitute for illness.

We are looking for you for the following areas of responsibility:

  • Preparation of collections/transport
  • Collection, transport and postprocessing by driver
  • Reporting of customer inquiries and/or disruptions
  • Attendance of workshop appointments by driver
  • Waste acceptance and incoming control for the landfill, the recycling center at the operating yard, the transfer station, the composting plant, etc. (large and small customers)
  • Support in ensuring general safety at the landfills of the district of Spree-Neiße/Wokrejs Sprjewja-Nysa
  • Implementation of container management
  • Collection of used textiles by driver and loader
