This department is recruiting a Summer Camp Director who shall be responsible for staff supervision, logistics and overall operations of their assigned program.

The supervisor will manage up to 25 seasonal staff, counselors in training, and volunteers when acceptable. Working with the department's Program Coordinator, the supervisor will develop daily curriculum, implement programming, supervise, and evaluate. This is a seasonal position with an expectation of working 8-10 weeks during the summer.

Position: 40 hours/week for 8-10 weeks. The salary range begins at $23.00/hour. Will plan/coordinate activities, directly supervise campers; drive Recreation van on local field trips up to 2days/week. Requires a minimum of 2 years' experience with elementary or middle-school aged children, experience in summer camp preferred. Driver's License required. This position offers no benefits or paid leave. MA driver's license, first aid CORI certification a must. Experience working with youth in a camp, classroom, or childcare setting required. Past experience as a camp director/supervisor preferred. Above all, superior customer service skills are essential.
