Transport Team Leader (m/f/d) (Air and Sea Freight)

Your responsibilities:

Calculation and negotiation of freight prices
Creation of statistics and evaluations, as well as transport planning and delivery reliability
Maintenance of key figures and data analysis for performance evaluation and implementation of improvements
Process planning and ensuring the flow of goods along the entire value chain
Compliance with all relevant noneconomic regulations for truck, air, rail, and sea freight
Optimization of existing process flows for a safer and faster order processing
Control of shipping and delivery processing while adhering to countryspecific regulations
Point of contact for customers, freight forwarders, carriers, international locations, and internal departments
Creation of freight documents
Operational coordination while adhering to legal and internal regulations
Close cooperation with all operational departments, logistics, and especially customers

Your profile:

Completed commercial or technical education or a degree with a focus on business administration or logistics
Professional experience in the field of land, air, and sea freight
Experience in handling international shipping, transport planning/logistics
First experience in personnel management and conflict management skills
Proficient in common MS Office programs
Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
Handson mentality
Accuracy, high process and results orientation, as well as strong communication skills, initiative, and willingness to learn
