Job Summary:


Provide guidance, direction and decision making as needed with any development, fulfillment, or supplier quality issues across the supply chain.

Maintain and evaluate competitive quality assessments/trends.


Essential Functions:


  • Contributes to the advancement of the vendor quality program by identifying opportunities and supporting risk appropriate enhancements to the oversight infrastructure
  • Monitors metrics and dashboards for emerging trends for vendors
  • Ensures adequate management and mitigation of risk arising from vendors
  • Supports development of processes and procedures to report on, manage, and mitigate vendor risk to acceptable levels
  • Leads and/or participates in process and system improvement efforts as a vendor quality SME
  • Provides insight on vendor risk and its potential impact in quality and business
  • Assists senior management with systemic quality event investigations relevant to suppliers that impact Safety Quality Delivery and Cost.
  • Identify quality and compliance risks, contribute to robust investigations, and assist with adequate corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) development, ensure continual improvement that is aligned to Amphenol PCD's values and strategic priorities
  • Support crossfunctional continual improvements projects within the business and the supply chain

Required Skills/Qualifications:


  • Demonstrated experience with key performance indicators and quality metrics for vendors
  • Expertise in risk assessment as it pertains to third parties / suppliers
  • Strong interpersonal skills to explain difficult information and work to build alignment
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Working knowledge of and/or education, skills, and experience associated with manufacturing processes, engineering drawings requirements, mechanical and electrical inspection methods
  • A selfstarter, who can work independently, and can drive actions to completion

Desired Skills/Qualifications:


  • Green / Black belt certification
  • 5+ years of experience in Aerospace supplier quality, manufacturing, or Engineering
  • 3 years of experience managing people
