Greenfield Claims Specialist Professional/Financial Lines/Cyber (m/w/d)

Permanent in Cologne or Munich, Germany

This position is a controlled function under the CBI Fit & Probity Regime.

As a Greenfield Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for proactively handling claims in the Cyber and Financial Lines areas. This includes working independently within the scope of your authority and in collaboration with your supervisor. Your responsibilities will include:

Handling Cyber claims, as well as claims related to Professional Liability, Directors and Officers Liability, and other Financial Lines
Investigating the facts of each case, providing sound legal analysis, and ensuring efficient and appropriate settlement
Conducting investigations and settlement negotiations, as well as necessary travel
Timely and accurate reserving of claims and regular reserve reviews
Pursuing subrogation opportunities
Managing claims processes at all levels
Maintaining accurate electronic files and reporting in accordance with Claims Handling Principles
Monitoring policy portfolios
Collaborating with other departments such as Underwriting, Distribution, and Risk Engineering

You will report to the Claims Team Leader for Professional/Financial Lines/Cyber.
