As a specialist for warehouse logistics, you organize the material flow using modern communication and information systems.
You work for both production and our central spare parts warehouse and are responsible for supplying spare parts to Ford dealerships in Germany and abroad.
You are also responsible for the process of goods receipt, proper storage and picking, as well as ensuring timely availability of production materials or spare parts.
The training period is 3 years and can be shortened with good performance.
What you will learn during the training:
- Goods receipt: checking deliveries and accompanying documents, unloading transport vehicles such as trucks, and ensuring that the goods reach their destination
- Warehouse management: using state-of-the-art computer-controlled technology to store goods in different types of warehouses until they are needed
- Picking: assembling an order, for example from a Ford dealership, and preparing it for shipping
- Shipping: creating shipping documents such as loading lists and freight papers, assigning them to the appropriate transport, and sending the goods to their recipient
What you bring:
at least a secondary school leaving certificate, technical and commercial interest, organizational skills, logical thinking, and reliability.
