Position: Information Security Architect
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Hybrid (Boston, MA)
Work hours: 40 hours/week

Role Overview:

Ensure information confidentiality, integrity, and availability by effectively communicating risk
Establish and uphold policies to support processes
Verify compliance with regulatory mandates
Coordinate security tasks with A&F IT-supported entities, including product evaluation, procurement, and deployment
Translate complex security challenges into viable technical solutions
Provide technical and security guidance to technology/business teams
Ensure development aligns with security, design, and compliance standards
Offer advice on secure system design and monitor evolving technologies for operational impacts
Identify compliance vulnerabilities and oversee the development of corrective plans
Ensure legal and industry standards for security compliance are met
Provide strategic counsel regarding security threats

Key Requirements:

Minimum 10 years of IT experience
Minimum 10 years in information or cyber security, with 5 years exposure to security frameworks, preferably NIST
5 years of leadership experience within complex organizations
Extensive proficiency in policies, application design, analysis, networking, security controls, audits, risk assessment, and disaster recovery
Capacity to manage teams and drive employee performance
Strong written and verbal communication skills, adept at translating security concepts across different business levels
Ability to cultivate productive relationships with diverse stakeholders
