Job Title: Cybersecurity Specialist

Qualified Cybersecurity Specialist candidates in the Boston, MA area will be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 10 years of experience within information technology
A minimum of 10 years of experience in information security or cyber security; with at least 5 years of exposure to various security frameworks, preferably NIST
5 years of managerial, team leadership or supervisory experience
Extensive experience in policies/procedures, application design, networking, security control, audits, risk analysis, and disaster recovery
Ability to supervise staff, provide coaching, training, and development
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders

Responsibilities:

Ensure information confidentiality, integrity, and availability by communicating risks
Develop and enforce policies supporting processes
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Coordinate security activities and awareness plans
Provide technical security guidance to teams
Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards
Monitor emerging technologies for impacts on operations
Identify and address security compliance vulnerabilities
Provide advice on security threats

Schedule:

On-site work approximately 40% of the time and remote work 60% of the time
