Description

Precast of Maine is looking to hire a Concrete Batch Plant Operator. The precast shop specializes in using forms to pour and produce concrete structures for utility and infrastructure construction projects.

The Batch Plant Operator's responsibilities and duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Maintain the batch areas and equipment to ensure safe operation and mínimal downtime.
• Produce concrete that meet requirements specified for the pours.
• Perform all preventive maintenance tasks as required.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems with concrete conditions and make the required adjustments to solve issues quickly and completely.
• Confirm needed quantities of raw materials (aggregate, sand, cement, and admixtures) to ensure pours are completed to schedule.
• Ability to use computers and applicable software (Skako)
• Other duties as assigned

This position is full-time, year-round.

• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Ability to work for required hours (6:00am 6:00pm)
• Help maintain the safety and cleanliness of the plant
• Must be able to walk up and down steps many times per day.
