    JOB SUMMARY
    Entry level role overseeing daily shift requirements at the front office, including Bell/Door Staff, Switchboard, and Guest Services/Front Desk. Focus on ensuring guest and employee satisfaction, and meeting budget goals. Assist in financial and administrative tasks.


    CANDIDATE PROFILE

    Education and Experience:
    • High school diploma or GED with a year of experience in guest services, front desk, or related area.
    OR
    • Two-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field with no work experience required.

    CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

    Supporting Management of Front Desk Team

    • Lead, influence, and motivate team members, ensuring sound decision-making and integrity.
    • Encourage trust, respect, and cooperation among team.
    • Act as a role model for appropriate behavior.
    • Understand employee roles to cover duties when needed.
    • Address employee queries and support Front Office operations.
    • Assist in daily Front Desk functions.

    Supporting Progress Toward Guest Services and Front Desk Goals

    • Oversee day-to-day operations to meet customer expectations.
    • Set goals, organize work, handle complaints, and improve service performance.
    • Monitor staffing levels to meet service and financial targets.
    • Train staff on credit policies, maximize revenue through selling procedures.
    • Understand the financial impact of Front Desk operations.

    Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service

    • Go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Provide guidance and coaching to meet guest needs.
    • Set a positive example for guest relations.
    • Handle guest issues and feedback effectively.

    Supporting Projects and Policies

    • Implement customer service programs and review guest satisfaction results.
    • Ensure proper supplies and guest information tracking system.

    Supporting Handling of Human Resource Activities

    • Identify developmental needs, mentor others, and provide feedback on performance.
    • Set performance standards, support training, and participate in appraisal process.

    Additional Responsibilities

    • Communication with team members and supervisors.
    • Analyze information to solve problems effectively.
    • Keep relevant parties updated on information.
    • Perform Front Desk duties when required.
    • Comply with loss prevention policies.

    The hourly pay range for this position is $26.44 to $33.65, with eligibility for an annual bonus. Medical, dental, vision, and various other benefits are offered, along with PTO and holiday entitlement.
