Eaton is currently seeking a Project Manager to join our corporate research department in Aachen, Germany. This role will support research and development in the areas of Energy Systems and Power Electronics, and will assist the engineering team in delivering exceptional results for our innovation projects related to electric vehicle charging infrastructure, energy storage, renewable power generation, and more.
About the Research and Project:
At Eaton Research Labs, we are dedicated to developing new technologies for future Eaton products. Our team evaluates and tests product concepts for a variety of industrial applications, ranging from microcontroller software to megawatt-scale battery storage demonstrators. As a Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to oversee a diverse portfolio of projects and collaborate with colleagues from different technology fields and countries to "Make what matters work."
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing small to medium-sized R&D projects funded by government agencies. This includes overseeing project schedules, scopes, and budgets, as well as working with both internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, the Project Manager will be responsible for reporting to funding agencies (such as the EU and DE) and driving new technology development, process improvement, and financial performance throughout all project phases.
