Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Safely drive an Amazon branded delivery vehicle to transport packages to customers, including businesses, in a variety of weather conditions
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving the vehicle
• Ensure timely delivery of packages to all routes provided by the company while providing friendly customer service
• Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle, reporting any maintenance or repair needs
• Lift, push, pull and move packages of 20 lbs on average and up to 60 lbs
• Able to get in and out of van and walk up and down stairs through your shift up to 150 times per day

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• No prior experience necessary
• No marijuana testing
• At least 21 years of age
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Must consent and successfully pass preemployment test
• Hawthorne, NY, 10532 : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Delivery Driver Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Pay:

Starting at $20.75 per hour

• Paid Time Off accrues on day 3 days of paid training
• Paid overtime 1.5X
• College and professional training contribution up to $5,275 per year
